Stephen Bereza, Owner

Stephen’s pilot experience began at a young age after watching his grandfather and father serve in the U.S. Air Force. At the age of 17, he received his private pilot’s license. After high school, he pursued a degree in business technology from Bob Jones University. In 2013, he married his high school sweetheart, Harriet. They now have three kids–Stephen, JoAnna, and Samuel. In 2015, Stephen earned his commercial pilot’s license and started cropdusting for A&C Ag Aviation. In 2022, he became the founder of Birch Tree Aviation and is passionate about serving his clients with integrity and excellence.

Josh Maddox, CFO

Josh Maddox joined Birch Tree Aviation’s team in 2022. He has brought his business and financial expertise to the team, and he is thrilled to be working alongside our talented crew. He graduated from Pensacola Christian College in May of 2005 with a B.S. in Business Management. He married his wife, Jane, in 2008. Jane has been a pediatrician for over 10 years and is currently practicing at Primary Pediatrics in Warner Robins. Together, they have 3 boys: Joshua, Jack, and Jacob. Before coming to Birch Tree, he worked 9 years at Robins Financial Credit Union. He is an active member of Second Baptist Church, where he serves as a deacon, life group leader, and praise team member!
